Classes & Workshops: $200/day + GST

5-Day Rentals
Classes & Workshops: $900/week + GST
Rehearsals: $750/week + GST

The studio is available daily from 7am-11pm.

• Workshops, classes, and rehearsals are permitted.

• Maximum number of people in the studio is 20 for any of activities mentioned above. Although it is advised to have max 10 people for movement-based classes/workshops.

• No outside shoes on the wood floor. Please don't lean on the windows as they are fragile.

• The studio has a shared bathroom with another renter (Alison Denham) who uses their space (right across the studio entrance door) 3 times per week for pilates sessions. Depending on the time of your booking, we will ask you to be mindful of noise and music level in the studio and check in with Alison when you are there.

One-Time Bookings:

● Total booking 2 days or less: 3 weeks’ notice for no payment due; 1 week – 3 weeks’

notice for 50% payment required

● Total booking between 2 days and 5 days: 5 weeks’ notice for no payment due; 2 weeks

– 5 weeks’ notice for 50% payment required

● Total booking more than 5 days: 8 weeks’ notice for no payment due; 3 weeks – 8 weeks’

notice for 50% payment required

Ongoing Bookings:

● 1 month’s notice is required to stop ongoing booking.

● Personal items removed

● The studio does not have a garbage bin as part of the building. Recycling and perishable garbage should be removed (pack in, pack out).

● Floors swept (and mopped if needed)

● Mats, pillows and all furniture stored in their original positions

● Restrooms presentable

● Turn the heat off if you turned it on

● Turn the lights off

● Studio doors and windows locked

● Building door locked

The studio is on the 2nd floor of the building.

The floor is wood.

Safe Space Policy

The Biting School studio must remain an open and safe space for all people. Renters must actively ensure they create an inclusive and safe environment for all patrons of the studio, who represent all sexual orientations, gender identities, and races who come from diverse backgrounds, histories, and experiences. Anyone who accesses The Biting School Studio has the right to be free from all forms of discrimination, oppression, and harassment, and must be treated with respect and compassion at all times. All renters are responsible for creating safe and respectful environments for everyone to enjoy and experience the arts to connect, network, share ideas, and learn from and with each other.

Unfortunately, the studio is not wheel-chair accessible due to staircases.
